Terms of Service

Effective from 4 October 2026. Provider: ROTOXI – [company name, registered seat, company registration number, tax number, email to be completed].

1. The service

ROTOXI Lingo is a Google Chrome extension and the related online service. It translates the text of web pages, as well as the audio and subtitles of foreign-language videos, into the chosen language, and produces a synthetic voice-over. Translation is produced by artificial intelligence and may therefore contain errors; the Provider accepts no liability for the accuracy of the translation.

2. Registration and free trial

Registration with an email address is required. Each new account receives a one-time, non-renewing trial allowance: 60 minutes of live subtitles and 15 minutes of voice-over. An account may be used on at most 2 devices; sharing an account is prohibited.

3. Plans and fees

• Basic – HUF 3,990/month: 30 hours of live subtitles per month, unlimited YouTube subtitles and page translation, without voice-over.
• Pro – HUF 12,990/month: 30 hours of live subtitles per month, 15 hours of voice-over per month, unlimited YouTube subtitles and page translation.

“Unlimited” use means fair use: at most 60 requests per minute per user, and at most 2 million characters of text translation per month. Unused allowance does not carry over to the next period. Payment is made monthly in advance via Stripe. The subscription can be cancelled at any time on the account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Plan changes are available on the account page (“Manage account”).

4. Right of withdrawal

Performance of the digital service begins immediately after purchase. By paying, the User expressly consents to this and acknowledges that they thereby lose their 14-day right of withdrawal [legal review required].

5. User obligations

The User may only translate content to which they have lawful access. Reverse engineering the extension, automated bulk use of the service, and circumventing the limits are prohibited. In such cases the Provider may suspend the account.

6. Availability

The service relies on external AI providers and may therefore be temporarily unavailable. Audio from DRM-protected players cannot be captured technically; in live mode a 2–4 second delay is normal.

7. Data processing

Data processing is governed by the Privacy Notice.

8. Final provisions

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. The Provider will notify any amendment of the Terms 15 days in advance by email.
